Here’s Marita’s bio:
Marita Løkken is deaf, a trained medical nurse and holds an MA in Disability and Society. She is now a university lecturer in the BA program in Norwegian Sign Language and Interpreting at NTNU – the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway. Currently, she will soon finish with a PhD in Professional Sign Language Competence at Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway. Her research interests include deaf experiences, sign language, language, health, communication, and interpreting.
